1. Arabian Gulf Cup 2019

Dates: November 26 to December 8, 2019

Where: Khalifa International Stadium and Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium

The region's top football teams have arrived in Qatar for the highly anticipated Arabian Gulf Cup 2019. The Gulf Cup begins on November 26 and will continue until Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Matches will be held at Khalifa International Stadium as well as Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium (also known as Duhail Stadium).

The 24th edition of the Gulf Cup will witness the participation of eight nations including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Yemen.

Ticketing Information

Limited tickets are available for the tournament and can be purchased online, here.

Tickets are priced at:

- CATEGORY 1 - QAR 50

- CATEGORY 2 - QAR 30

- CATEGORY 3 - QAR 10

To purchase your ticket online, you will need to pay with a valid credit card as debit cards are not accepted.

All children over the age of two will require a valid ticket to gain access to the stadium.

2. Traditional Dhow Festival 2019

Dates: December 3 to December 16, 2019

Where: Katara Cultural Village

Time: 9:00 am to 10:00 pm

Entry: Entry is free for all

The 9th Traditional Dhow Festival is underway at the Katara Cultural Village until December 16, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The festival will see the participation of dhows from different countries in addition to the hosts Qatar. It will also be showcasing authentic maritime traditions inspired by Qatar's past ancestors

Join in to witness exciting activities and events throughout the festival at Katara’s beach.

3. Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run 2019

Dates: December 6, 2019

Where: Starts at Sheraton Park finishes at Dukhan beach

Time: 5:00 am to 9:00 pm

Entry: Entry is free for all

Qatar Sports for All Federation invites everyone to participate in the biggest and longest ultra-running event in Qatar in its third edition.

Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run is an iconic event. Spanning from the eastern coast of Qatar to the western coast of Qatar, taking you on an unforgettable 90 km experience through the magnificent desert.

The challenge starts at Sheraton Park on December 6, 2019, at 4:30 am and finishes at Dukhan beach. The cutoff time is 8:30 pm.

Qatar East-to-West Ultra Run is not a race, but rather a challenge to run and cover the whole distance. However, you can cover as much distance as possible.

4. Flower Festival

Dates: December 1-10, 2019

Time: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Friday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Where: Souq Waqif

Entry: Entry is free for all

The picturesque Flower Festival is back with its second edition.

The festival offers the opportunity for exhibitors to present their excellent florals to the public. This gorgeous festival runs until December 10, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and on Friday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Souq Waqif became so colorful with all the fresh flowers.

5. Qatar Balloon Festival 2019

Dates: December 7-18, 2019

Where: Aspire Park

The first-of-its-kind event, Qatar Balloon Festival is all set to commence this weekend. The 12 day festival of Hot Air Balloons, where more than 30 balloons will be gathering from around the world to adorn the sky.

In addition to the beautiful sight of hot air balloons filling the skies, the festival will also offer a number of food trucks, fairground rides, and other entertainment activities
