1. The 4th Cultural Diversity Festival

Cultural Village Foundation – Katara presents the 4th Cultural Diversity Festival on February 13-14.
The festival will showcase Lithuanian cultural performances including folkloric shows from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the amphitheater.

2. Concert by Alessandro Martire

Cultural Village Foundation – Katara in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy presents a concert by the Italian pianist and composer, Alessandro Martire on February 14 from 7:00 pm onwards at the Opera House.
3. Mahaseel Festival 2020

Dates: Every Friday and Saturday until March 31, 2020
Where: Katara Cultural Village
Time: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

The Mahaseel Festival, which lets local farmers directly sell their farm produce to people, is taking place at the Katara Cultural Village.
The popular festival, aimed at supporting and promoting the agricultural and livestock sectors in Qatar, has been a massive hit in the past.
The market features Qatari farms selling various types of fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants and local companies offering food products related to livestock, in addition to natural honey and the best varieties of local dates produced by Qatari farms.
Around 22 local farms, flower nurseries and six national companies for dairies and meat products will be participating in the Festival this year.
The festival will also offer several entertainment and awareness activities for children and adults to enhance their experience.
4. Arab Music Workshop

Dates: February 13, 2020
Where: Qatar National Library
Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

If you are interested in exploring the Kaman (Arab violin), then this event is just for you!
The Library is partnering with the Qatar Music Academy (QMA) for a series of workshops on three different Arabic instruments in January and February 2020.
In this session, a professional teacher of QMA will introduce you to the Kaman and you will get to hold and play it and learn about its parts and sound production.
No previous knowledge is required, and the instruments will be provided.
5. Friday Brunch at The Curry House

This year’s Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park Bazaar, a seasonal weekend market, is proving popular since it opened to the public last weekend. For home-based business owners especially, it has proven to be an opportunity to boost trade and increase exposure.
MIA Bazaar has got a vibrant mix of 120 stalls and new ones will constantly pop up. MIA Park Bazaar is a modern version of the old souq tradition.
