1. IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019

Dates: September 27 to October 6, 2019

Where: Khalifa International Stadium

The ten-day sporting spectacular will see 2,000 athletes arrive at the Khalifa International Stadium to compete for gold, whilst the world’s first-ever Midnight Marathon will take place along the Corniche, set against the lights of the mesmerizing Doha skyline.

Spectators will enjoy a whole host of entertainment on a daily basis between 27 September 27 - October 6, with a Global Athletics Village bringing worldwide cultures to life through entertainment and cuisine, as athletes from 213 different countries will take part in the competition.

Every evening will see new world champions created with finals taking place every day in events such as the highly anticipated 100m and 200m sprints, through to the shows of the sheer strength of competitors in the hammer throw and shot put.

2. Qatar Pro Wrestling

Dates: September 27, 2019

Time: 6:30 pm

Where: Dizaj Sports Center

Entry: Entry is free for all

Are you ready to rumble?

Qatar Pro Wrestling (QPW) is the biggest and the first wrestling association in the Middle East.

Join them to witness some thrilling matches on September 27, 2019, at Dizaj Sports Center from 6:30 pm onwards.

3. Karting at Losail Circuit

Dates: September 26-27, 2019

Time: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Where: Losail Circuit Sports Club

Entry: Price (for adults) - QAR 125 per karting session of 15 minutes (with mask included) and price (for kids) - QAR 25 per karting session of 5 minutes.

Enjoy fast and furious go-karting action at Losail Circuit Sports Club!  Choose from a selection of go-karts and race head-to-head with your competitors for a shot at karting glory.

This karting experience is perfect for competitive groups of friends or families looking for an action-packed weekend.

Kids aged 8-14 years old will be permitted while also considering their body fitness and height (minimum height of 120 cm)

4. Childhood Cancers Awareness Campaign

Dates: September 27, 2019

Time: 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm

Where: Tawar Mall

Entry: Entry is free for all

Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) is a non-profit humanitarian charity, which was founded in 1997.

The vision of the society is to be the community partnership platform to make Qatar a leader in cancer prevention and impact mitigation.

Children can get a free medical checkup, take part in entertaining activities and walkathon, and receive gifts.

5. Open Fair Souq

Dates: September 19 to October 1, 2019

Time: 10:00 am and 10:00 pm

Where: Doha Exhibition and Convention Center

Entry: Entry is free for all

Open Fair Souq is one of the region’s prime trade shows, featuring hundreds of exhibitors from different countries, showcasing and selling a wide range of products.

6. Katara Prize for Prophet’s Poets

Dates: September 22-27, 2019

Time: 8:00 pm

Where: Opera House, Katara Cultural Village

The fourth edition of the Katara Prize for the Prophet’s Poets launched on September 22, under the patronage and support of the strategic partner, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

The closing ceremony will be held on Friday, September 27 from 8:00 pm at the Opera House in Katara Cultural Village.
