According to the new travel policy issued by Qatar yesterday, vaccinated people from all countries will be exempted from quarantine, taking effect from July 12, 2021.
Moreover, countries are now classified into green, yellow, and red categories. Vaccinated people coming from red list countries will be required to do a repeat RT PCR on arrival.
Passengers traveling to Qatar from all ports must also pre-register on the Ehteraz website and attach all relevant documentation for a period of at least 12 hours before arrival.
Today, The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced that unvaccinated children aged between 0-17 years old will no longer require to do hotel quarantine upon arrival, however, they will be required to do home quarantine.
For Qatari citizens, residents, and GCC nationals:
Traveling from Green list countries:
- Minors between 0-11 years old traveling with their fully vaccinated parents are exempted from quarantine.
- Children between 12-17 years old are subject to home quarantine (5 days)
Traveling from Yellow list countries:
Children between 0-17 years old traveling with fully vaccinated parents will be subject to home quarantine (7 days).
Traveling from Red list countries:
Children between 0-17 years old traveling with fully vaccinated parents will be subject to home quarantine (10 days).
Arrivals for family visits, work, tourism including GCC residents:
Traveling from Green list countries:
Minors between 0-11 years old traveling with their fully vaccinated parents are exempted from quarantine.
Traveling from Yellow list countries:
Minors between 0-11 years old traveling with fully vaccinated parents will be subject to hotel quarantine (7 days).
Traveling from Red list countries:
Entry is not allowed.
