With the registration deadline of the National Address fast approaching, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that 10 of its service centers will remain open this weekend (July 24-25) to make it easy for citizens and residents to complete their registration process.
The MoI confirmed on its social media accounts that the services centers in Mesaimeer, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Industrial Area, Onaiza, Al Shahaniya, Al Daayen, Al Khor, Al Shamal, and Umm Salal will be operational this weekend.
"The deadline for the National Address registration ends on Sunday, July 26, 2020,” the Ministry reminded.
“Some of the MoI Qatar service centers will be working this weekend from 8 am to 12noon to make it easy for individuals and companies to complete their National Address registration," the Ministry added.
MoI further highlighted that registering your National Address “reflects your eagerness to abide by the law and simplify your official transactions.”

Earlier this week, MoI had mentioned that domestic workers can register their National Address using the form for registering domestic workers and authorizing their employer to submit the application on their behalf. The form must be filled out and signed by the worker.
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) also reminded the public including citizens, residents, and other legal persons in the country, to register their national address through the Metrash2 app or MOI website.
The registration for National Address started on January 27, 2020, and the last date to register this information is Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Every applicant is responsible for giving the correct information and failure to do so may result in a QR10,000 fine.
All individuals residing in Qatar (expatriates and locals) are required to register their national address under the National Address Law (Law No 24 of 2017). No fee is required for this service.
For minor children, the guardians will be responsible to register their data and ensure its authenticity, the MOI had specified earlier.
The National Address Law comes under Qatar’s digitization efforts to strategically develop its e-government, among other objectives.
Here is a guide to register your National Address. For more information regarding this, you may contact the Ministry on 2350422 from 6.00 am to 1.00 pm.
