The Ehteraz application has launched ‘Pre-Registration System’, a new service for those returning to Qatar. It is featured on the top of the application’s screen.

This service aims at facilitating the procedures of travelers entering Qatar, verifying health requirements, determining quarantine, or making prior exemption from quarantine.

Currently, registration is optional. It will speed up traveler’s procedures upon entering the country so that verification will be processed automatically.

Therefore, it will help to avoid overcrowding and lessen the waiting hours at the arrival according to the Qatar e-Government Portal - Hukoomi.

In June,  Ehteraz app’s latest update saw some new features added to it. The app now shows details such as a person’s health card number, date of last COVID-19 test and the result of the test.

For those who recovered from COVID-19, the app also shows the recovery date, the date of infection, and the number of days following recovery from the infection.

The health status of the person is still seen in the QR code on the health status page of Ehteraz.

A golden frame is seen around the QR code of the person who has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The health card details may not appear under the health status of those individuals who have not undergone COVID-19 testing.
