Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC), a Qatari public shareholding company, announced the establishment of new subsidiaries in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, along with a name change for one of its existing subsidiaries. This move is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its regional presence and expand its logistics services.

In a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today, the company confirmed that these steps align with its strategic plans to diversify the group's activities, enhance its operational capabilities, and broaden its logistics services across the region. GWC also stated that these developments are not expected to have any material impact on the company's financial statements.

The company explained that it established GWC Biosafe Hazardous Materials Transport LLC in Qatar and GWC Express Trading LLC in the UAE. Additionally, Prime Inspection Services was renamed GWC Bu Sulba Logistics LLC in Qatar.

As part of its expansion into the specialized logistics sector, the group also announced the establishment of “GWC Energy Logistics LLC – Sharjah Branch 1” in the United Arab Emirates.
