His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a written message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The message included an invite for HH the Amir to attend the meeting of the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).
The summit is scheduled to take place this month in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

HH the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al-Saud delivered the message to HH the Amir during a meeting at the Amiri Diwan yesterday morning.
At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to HH the Amir and wished him success as well as more progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
HH the Amir entrusted the Saudi minister to pass on his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, wishing him good health and the Saudi people further development and growth.
Last year, HH the Amir had attended the 41st GCC Summit, which saw the signing of the historic Al Ula Declaration. The agreement was signed by all GCC members who pledged to strengthen ties for the region’s prosperity, stability, and further growth.
