HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a cable of condolences from HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, on the passing of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of Qatar.
In the cable, HRH the Saudi Crown Prince said he received the news of the passing of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani with deep sorrow and sadness.
He noted that the late Father Amir had a prominent role in the renaissance and prosperity of Qatar.
HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended his warmest condolences and sincere sympathy to HH The Amir and the family of the late Father Amir.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the late Father Amir His vast mercy and forgiveness, admit him to Paradise, reward him for what he gave to his people and country, and protect HH The Amir from all harm.
