Qatar's Ministry of Interior (MOI) has confirmed that three people, including one child, sustained injuries after falling debris from interception operations following the Iranian attacks.
In a press release issued on Sunday, July 12, 2026, the ministry said security authorities and Civil Defence teams immediately activated their response procedures in line with approved emergency plans as they continued monitoring developments on the ground.
Based on field assessments and official reports, the ministry confirmed that the three injuries resulted from debris falling during interception operations. It added that all injured individuals are receiving the necessary medical care.
The ministry also clarified that national public safety and emergency alerts are activated only when circumstances require additional urgent precautionary measures to protect the public.
Residents were urged to obtain information only from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours, unverified information, images or videos, warning that doing so could lead to legal accountability.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that its security authorities remain on full operational readiness around the clock, ensuring a rapid response, maintaining public safety and security, and guaranteeing the uninterrupted delivery of essential services across the country.
