The Amiri Diwan announced that the funeral prayer for the late HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will be held after Maghrib prayer today, Sunday, July 12.
The prayer will take place at Imam Muhammad bin Abdulwahhab Mosque in Doha.
The Amiri Diwan said the late Father Amir will then be laid to rest at Lusail Cemetery.
It also announced that HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will receive condolences from leaders of countries, members of the ruling family, dignitaries and citizens at Lusail Palace.
Condolences will be received on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 13, 14 and 15, 2026.
The morning period will be from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, while the evening period will be from after Asr prayer until Isha prayer.
May Allah have mercy on the late Father Amir, grant him the highest place in Paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family and the people of Qatar.
