Lusail Circuit Revives F1 Family Friday as Qatar Grand Prix Returns

Lusail International Circuit has announced the return of the Formula 1 Family Friday initiative as part of the 2026 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, scheduled to take place from November 27 to 29.

The initiative reflects the circuit’s commitment to strengthening community engagement and reinforcing inclusion by offering enjoyable and distinctive experiences through which different segments of the community can enjoy motorsport.

It aims to give families an opportunity to enjoy a world-class Formula 1 racing experience at the circuit, further establishing its position as a sports and entertainment destination for audiences of all ages.

Formula 1 Family Friday will take place on November 27. With the purchase of an adult general admission ticket for QR 200, visitors may bring up to four children under the age of 12 free of charge, giving families an opportunity to enjoy the Formula 1 atmosphere.

Accompanying parents or legal guardians must obtain the children’s free admission tickets in advance through Lusail International Circuit’s official online ticketing platform before attending the event.

Formula 1 Family Friday offers fans a special experience and the opportunity to watch the practice sessions, as some of the world’s leading drivers demonstrate their skills on the track.

The tickets also give holders access to the fan zone and a variety of experiences and activities, including cultural activities, a dedicated children’s area, interactive simulators, live entertainment, a range of food and beverage options, merchandise outlets and entertainment suitable for the whole family.

Fans will also be able to attend the Heroes’ Meet, which will take place on the main stage in the fan zone, and enjoy the benefits included with a general admission ticket, including free return shuttle-bus service between Lusail QNB Metro Station and Lusail International Circuit, as well as on-site parking facilities.
