Al Abdulghani Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Qatar, has announced a partnership with Fanzaty E-sports, a leading gaming and e-sports platform in the Middle East, to launch the “Sim to Circuit” Championship, an initiative that brings together the automotive sector and the world of esports, introducing an innovative competitive experience that bridges virtual racing and real-world motorsport.
The initiative reflects Toyota’s passion for motorsport and embodies the performancedriven spirit of TOYOTA GAZOO RACING (GR), highlighting the Toyota GR Yaris, a vehicle that combines sporty performance with technology inspired by the world of racing, making it a central element of the championship experience.
The “Sim to Circuit” Championship aims to support the growth of Qatar’s e-sports sector, attract young talent, and create new opportunities at the intersection of technology, sports, and the automotive industry. Through the championship, participants will compete in virtual racing challenges that recreate the excitement of real motorsport using gaming consoles and racing simulation platforms.
Beyond virtual competition, the initiative aims to turn the younger generation’s dream of competing in real motorsport into reality, offering them an exceptional opportunity to transition from virtual racing to an actual competitive driving experience on an internationally recognized circuit. The championship seeks to transform young enthusiasts’ passion for racing games into an unforgettable real-world experience, bringing them closer to the world of motorsport.
For the first time, Al Abdulghani Motors is launching an e-sports racing championship designed to create a tangible pathway from virtual racing to real-world motorsport. Competitors will race in Gran Turismo on their PlayStation using the Toyota GR Yaris, with competition on Japan’s iconic Suzuka Circuit. The championship will start on October 21, 2026 and end on November 8, 2026. The initiative is intended to give aspiring young motorsport enthusiasts an accessible opportunity to demonstrate their racing talent and pursue their ambition of progressing from simulation to driving a real race car at Lusail International Circuit.
The championship will ultimately identify two champions who will progress through a rigorous assessment and development process, with the opportunity to earn two seats in the 2027 Toyota GR Yaris Cup Qatar season. This represents a major step in AL Abdulghani Motors SIM to Circuit vision—using e-sports as a genuine talent-development pipeline into real-world motorsport.
Public The initiative also highlights the growing role of e-sports as an innovative platform for audience engagement, creating interactive experiences that go beyond traditional advertising approaches. It strengthens connections between brands and the younger generation while introducing them to Toyota’s motorsport heritage, particularly the racinginspired performance and engineering philosophy of GR.
This partnership reflects a shared vision between Al Abdulghani Motors and Fanzaty Esports to develop innovative initiatives that unite a passion for cars and gaming, support the discovery and development of young talent, and contribute to strengthening Qatar’s position as a leading destination for innovation, esports, and motorsport.
