Match schedule for FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026 group stage revealed

The match schedule for the group stage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, which will be held from November 19 to December 13, was announced on Monday.

The tournament will feature top youth national teams competing for global honours. It follows the success of the inaugural 48-team edition held in Qatar last year, which attracted strong crowds and showcased emerging talent.

Key fixtures include host nation Qatar facing Egypt in Group A, Spain meeting Morocco in a Group H clash, and a notable Group L encounter between Colombia and Japan, pitting the reigning U-17 South American and Asian champions against each other.

The tournament will be staged at the Aspire Zone complex, with eight matches per day during both the group stage and Round of 32. Match times will run from 3.30pm to 6.30pm on Saturdays to Wednesdays, and from 4pm to 7pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

The final will take place at the Khalifa International Stadium on December 13 at 7pm local time. The stadium, marking its 50th anniversary, previously hosted matches at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as well as the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 final.

Ticket information will be announced later.
