HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received leaders from Kuwait, Bahrain, Pakistan, Lebanon and Rwanda at Lusail Palace to offer condolences on the passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
HH The Amir received HH Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
HH The Amir also received Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Lebanon Dr Nawaf Salam, and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
The leaders offered their condolences to HH The Amir on the passing of the late Father Amir.
HH The Amir also received condolence phone calls from HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
During the calls, the Saudi Crown Prince and the UAE President expressed their condolences and sympathy to HH The Amir on the passing of HH the Father Amir.
The visits and calls reflected the regional and international stature of the late Father Amir and his lasting legacy in Qatar’s history.
