In front of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani His Excellency Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri was sworn in as Minister of Justice, at the Amiri Diwan earlier this morning.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani was also in attendance at the ceremony.

HH the Amir issued earlier today Amiri Order No. 2 of 2021, reshuffling the Cabinet.

The Order stipulates that HE Al Ameri shall be appointed as the Minister of Justice.

The Order also stipulates that HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, shall be entrusted with carrying out the duties of Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, in addition to the duties of his post.

The Amiri Order annulled all provisions contravening its rules.

The Amiri Order shall be effective starting from its date of issue and shall be published in the official gazette.
