Qatar announces public auction of impounded vehicles from October 4

Qatar’s General Directorate of Traffic has announced a public auction for the sale of impounded vehicles, beginning on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

The auction will run for two weeks at the Vehicle Impound Yard in Doha’s Industrial Area.

When and where is the auction?

The auction will be held at:

Location: Vehicle Impound Yard, Industrial Area – Street 52

Start date: Sunday, October 4, 2026

Duration: Two weeks

Auction hours: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Vehicle inspection available before auction

Prospective buyers will have an opportunity to inspect the vehicles before bidding begins.

Vehicle inspections are scheduled for:

• Wednesday, September 30
• Thursday, October 1

Inspection hours will run from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on both days.

The Ministry of Interior has also provided a QR code containing the conditions and requirements related to the auction.

Those planning to participate are advised to review the official terms in advance and inspect the vehicles during the designated dates before placing bids.
