The Qatar Boat Show 2026 concluded its third edition at the Old Port of Doha, after four days of yacht shows, the inauguration of new boats, the establishment of commercial partnerships, and a series of distinguished events, recording a remarkable turnout of 31,150 visitors.
From November 4 to 7, the exhibition brought together 546 brands across an area of 277,000 square meters, and its tickets were sold out, as visitors flocked to discover the latest maritime innovations, learn about Qatar's maritime heritage, and enjoy the arts and hospitality experiences. The next edition of the exhibition will be held from 24 to 27 November 2027.
This year's edition recorded a 30% increase in GCC participation compared to the previous edition, and the exhibition witnessed the largest attendance of boat manufacturers from the GCC countries in its history, confirming its growing position in the region's maritime sector, with Qatari exhibitors accounting for 55% of the total participation, compared to 45% for international exhibitors, while 70% of exhibitors renewed their participation, reflecting the value of the exhibition as a prominent trade platform for building partnerships, attracting new customers, and opening up to new markets.
The exhibition was welcomed by a group of dignitaries and guests, including a number of prominent government officials, as these visits embodied the strategic importance of the exhibition in supporting Qatar's maritime economy, advancing its ambitions in the field of yacht tourism, and strengthening ties between the parties in the sector at the regional level.
The show cemented its position as a destination for discovering the latest in yachting and boating, as it hosted the launch of the Emirates Boat 63 from Emirates Boats, the Seadeck 6 by Azimut represented by Elite Yachts, the Du Mare yacht from Seven Craft, the Monohull 40S from the ocean boats, as well as the Asmarti 77 and Asmarti 100 from Al Shaali Marine.
The exhibition served as a platform for concluding agreements that support maritime services and trade partnerships, and pave the way for Qatari manufacturers to access foreign markets.
Doha Old Port and The Pearl Island Marina also signed an agreement to extend the MoU signed between them, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in organizing joint maritime events and activities, and providing mutual benefits to our customers.
The port also entered into a three-year agreement with All Marine Services to operate and operate the MENA-Link shipping vessels throughout the port. Assets Group and Azimut Yachts signed a strategic partnership agreement, while Doha Craft appointed Album Marine as its official agent in the State of Kuwait. Halul Boat Factory has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aqua Speed, under which the company will represent the factory in the Republic of Maldives, expanding the horizons of Qatari boat builders towards regional and international markets.
Qatari boat manufacturers were a key pillar of the show, with Halul Boat Factory launching the Halul 62 Foot Boat, the largest boat it has built to date, designed for luxury family trips and fishing activities.
The number of exhibitors in sailing, fishing and water sports increased by 19% compared to the previous edition, giving visitors interested in marine lifestyle a wider choice of equipment and greater opportunities to benefit from the expertise of specialists in these fields.
Eng. Mohammed Abdulla Al Mulla, CEO of Doha Old Port and Chairman of the Qatar Boat Show Organizing Committee, said that the exhibition combines the ambition of our maritime industry with our maritime heritage, which continues to shape our identity, noting that this ambition was manifested in this year's edition through stronger Gulf participation, the launch of new products, and the conclusion of partnerships that open the doors of foreign markets for Qatari manufacturers.
At the same time, he praised the interaction of visitors, as tickets were sold out as they turned out to discover the maritime media and the cultural events and experiences offered by the exhibition, praising the exhibitors, partners and visitors for their contribution to the success of this edition, and in enhancing the position of the State of Qatar as a destination for yacht tourism and marine tourism.
This year, the show introduced an exclusive VIP entrance experience, inspired by Qatar's close connection to the sea. The historic show 'Old Doha Port: A Tale of the Sea and the World's Meeting' chronicled the port's transformation from a commercial pier to a gateway to Qatar Maritime and a modern waterfront destination.
The exhibition "Ushar" presented works by Qatari artist Yousef Ahmed that evoke the memory of the sea and the ancient pier, in a unique turquoise blue color called "The Sea of Qatar", specially designed for Doha's old port.
Along the waterfront, visitors enjoyed a cultural programme full of film screenings, music, food experiences, and boat shows.
The daily screenings celebrated local stories through works by Qatari and Qatari filmmakers, presented by the exhibition as part of its cultural partnership with Qatar Creates and the Doha Film Institute, while live music, fireworks and drone displays with fireworks added a vibrant atmosphere to the harbour's evenings.
