Talks focus on regional developments
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed developments across the region and discussed ongoing efforts aimed at reducing escalation.
The talks also addressed the need to create suitable conditions for the resumption of dialogue as regional tensions continue.
Qatar stresses importance of diplomacy
HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani reiterated Qatar’s position that the diplomatic track should be resumed, stressing that dialogue remains the most effective way to address disagreements.
He also underlined the importance of avoiding further escalation and working toward solutions that support greater stability across the region.
Qatar has consistently emphasised mediation, dialogue and diplomatic engagement as key tools for resolving regional disputes and preventing tensions from developing further.
The Tehran meeting forms part of Qatar’s continued diplomatic engagement with regional partners amid efforts to encourage de-escalation and renewed political dialogue.
