Qatar to host Engineering Consultancy Conference and Exhibition 2026

The Qatar Society of Engineers will organise the Engineering Consultancy Conference and Exhibition 2026 on October 6 and 7, bringing together key players from Qatar’s engineering, consultancy and construction sectors.

The two-day event is designed to connect consulting offices, project owners, government and private entities, engineers and industry professionals, creating opportunities for partnerships, knowledge exchange and new business connections.

Focus on AI, sustainability and engineering challenges

The conference will address several topics currently shaping the engineering consultancy sector.

Key areas of discussion will include engineering legislation and professional challenges, as well as sustainability, building performance and the efficiency of engineering designs.

The programme will also examine the growing role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence tools within the sector, alongside the contribution of local products and engineering consultancy offices to Qatar’s wider development.

Six panel sessions and six presentations

Over the two days, the programme will feature six discussion sessions and six presentations delivered by participating consultancy offices.

The event will also include an accompanying exhibition, giving firms the opportunity to showcase their engineering capabilities, services, technologies and solutions.

The conference is intended to provide a space for professionals to exchange expertise in areas including engineering, planning and project management, while also strengthening collaboration between industry stakeholders.

Building stronger links across the sector

Eng. Amna Mohammed Al-Neama, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Society of Engineers, said the organisation is focused on creating platforms that support the development of engineering consultancy practices.

She noted that the conference presents an opportunity to connect consulting offices, decision-makers and project owners, while highlighting national and regional expertise.

According to Al-Neama, the event will also showcase the latest engineering solutions and innovations, with the aim of improving planning and implementation efficiency and supporting a stronger investment and engineering environment.

The conference forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Qatar’s engineering sector and support sustainable development in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
