QNB profit rises 4% to QAR 13.3bn in first nine months of 2026

Qatar National Bank (QNB) Group's net profit increased by 4 percent in the first nine months of 2026 to reach 13.317 billion riyals compared to 12.829 billion riyals in the same period last year.

Figures issued by the Group published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today showed an increase in earnings per share to reach QAR 1.37 for the period ended September 30, 2026, compared to earnings per share of QAR 1.31 for the same period of the previous year.

The bank's figures attributed the increase in the group's net profit to higher operating income, while the value of assets increased by 5 percent to 1.46 trillion riyals.

Mr. Abdulla Mubarak Al Khalifa, Group Chief Executive Officer of QNB, said: "Our international presence and strong customer relationships allow us to support companies in their investments and growth, while our financial strength enables us to seize value-added opportunities with confidence. As we enter the final quarter of the year, we continue to focus on achieving sustainable growth and delivering sustainable returns to shareholders. We will continue to strengthen our relationships with customers and invest in services and capabilities that support our competitive advantage, building on the operational discipline that underpins our performance."
