Rashid Al-Athba wins Asian Games individual skeet gold after Qatar’s 24-year wait

Qatar’s Rashid Saleh Al-Athba has won the men’s individual skeet gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, ending a 24-year wait for Qatar to reclaim the title in the event.

Al-Athba also set a new Asian record during his gold-medal performance, adding another major achievement to Qatar’s shooting campaign in Japan.
