Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, will host the Recent Advances in Primary Immunodysregulation Disorders (RAPID 2026) conference from September 25 to 27, 2026, bringing together international experts, clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals in Doha.

The in-person conference will focus on the latest developments in the diagnosis, management and research of primary and genetic immune dysregulation disorders.

Held under the theme "Frontiers in Diagnostics for Primary Immunodysregulation Disorders", RAPID 2026 will feature scientific presentations, multidisciplinary discussions and an IBB Master Class on Inborn Errors of Immunity.

The conference is being organised in collaboration with The Isil Berat Barlan Academy (IBB) and the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN), with the aim of strengthening regional and international collaboration while advancing precision diagnostics and patient care.

Dr. Bernice Lo, Principal Investigator at the Laboratory of Immunoregulation and Conference Co-Chair, said RAPID 2026 reflects Sidra Medicine's commitment to advancing research and improving outcomes for patients with rare and complex immune disorders.

She said the programme will bring together international and regional specialists, including keynote speaker Prof. Talal Chatila, a leading expert in translational immunology.

Dr. Lo added that the conference aims to accelerate knowledge exchange, strengthen international collaboration and promote earlier diagnosis and more personalised approaches to patient care.

Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Karim, Division Chief of Hematology and Sidra Conference Co-Chair, said the field of immune dysregulation is developing rapidly through advances in genomics, diagnostics and translational research.

He said RAPID 2026 will provide clinicians and scientists with a platform to share emerging evidence, discuss complex clinical cases and contribute to shaping future standards of care across the region and beyond.

The conference is designed for physicians, researchers, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals and scientists involved in caring for and studying patients with inborn errors of immunity and related immune disorders.

Participants will explore the latest clinical and scientific developments while contributing to discussions aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment and research collaboration across the MENA region and internationally.

Registration and abstract submissions are now open through sidra.org.
