Hamad Medical Corporation has expanded dental services at Al Khor Hospital and Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital, bringing the total number of clinics to eight.
The expansion aims to provide a comprehensive range of dental specialities in northern areas and make specialised care easier for patients to access closer to where they live.
The move forms part of HMC’s continuing efforts to expand dental services across the country and respond to growing demand from patients.
Dr. Munira Jassim Al Muhannadi, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Al Khor Hospital, said the expansion reflects HMC’s commitment to providing specialised, integrated and high-quality healthcare services across different areas of the country.
Dr. Nasser Al Marri, Head of Dental Services at HMC, said the corporation’s dental services continue to develop with the aim of providing comprehensive, specialised and high-quality care to patients.
He said the expansion at Al Khor Hospital and Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital makes a wider range of dental specialities available closer to patients’ homes.
The northern-area services are also coordinated with Hamad Dental Center at Rumailah to ensure integrated care in line with HMC’s approved standards and practices.
Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed, Head of the Dental Department at Al Khor Hospital and Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital, said the expansion has also been supported by a specialised medical team of eight dentists working across different branches of dentistry.
He said the presence of these specialists in the northern areas has made a noticeable difference to the patient experience and will support the delivery of comprehensive dental care.
