In a congratulatory meeting, Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, President of the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and President of Lusail International Circuit, welcomed GT 992 drivers Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, Faisal Al Yaafai, and Ahmed Al Emadi following their victory at the Abu Dhabi 6 Hours, reaffirming the strength of Qatari drivers in regional endurance racing.

Team QMMF delivered an outstanding performance at the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi, the opening round of the 24H Series‑Creventic 2026 season, as Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, Faisal Al Yafei, and Ahmed Al Emadi achieved a spectacular double victory for the team. Competing in the highly competitive Porsche 992 Cup, the QMMF trio secured overall victory in the 992 Cup category and claimed first place in the 992 AM class, marking a remarkable debut for the team’s new driver line‑up this season.

Despite this being their first race together as Team QMMF’s 2026 driver squad, they demonstrated exceptional teamwork, consistency, and pace throughout the demanding six‑hour endurance event.

Their strong execution, race strategy, and on‑track performance allowed them to dominate their class and secure the top step of the podium in both categories. This impressive result highlights the strength of the team’s preparation and the talent of its drivers, setting a powerful tone for the remainder of the 2026 24H Series campaign.

With this commanding start, Team QMMF has firmly established itself as a leading contender in the Porsche 992 Cup field, and attention now turns to building on this momentum in the upcoming rounds of the championship.
