ASPIRE Dome to host 2026 Track Race Series in June

Aspire Dome will host the 2026 Track Races in June, organised by the Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSFA) under the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

The series will feature four rounds on June 5, 12, 19, and 26, with races starting at 8am and open to men, women, and children of all ages.

Races will follow a timed format, with categories ranging from 15 to 30 minutes for adults aged 17 and above, 10 minutes for participants aged 7 to 17, and five minutes for children aged 3 to 6. Winners will be determined by the number of laps completed.

QSFA Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari said the races have become an effective platform for encouraging family participation in physical activity and promoting sport as a lifestyle. He added that Aspire Dome’s air-conditioned facilities help support regular participation.

The event forms part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote sports culture and physical activity and is positioned as an opening to summer activities for children and families.
