Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched ‘Hader,’ a digital platform for imams and callers to prayer as part of its broader digital transformation strategy.
The platform aims to replace paper-based procedures in mosques with an almost fully automated system, improving efficiency, speeding up administrative transactions and communication, and enhancing daily operations management.
Hader provides a direct, reliable communication channel between mosque administrations and on-site staff, enabling quick exchange of information and administrative guidance. It also strengthens governance and transparency by ensuring data accuracy and allowing electronic monitoring and verification.
The platform currently serves 1,456 mosques across Qatar and targets 3,435 imams and callers to prayer, helping standardize procedures, improve communication, and optimise services provided to mosque personnel.
It is also integrated with a digital system that periodically monitors hygiene levels in mosques, allowing staff to record comments and operational reports on sanitation company performance in real time, thereby reinforcing field surveillance and service quality.
