Al Wakra Hospital’s Emergency Department has been reopened from today, May 26, 2021, according to Hamad Medical Corporation.
The hospital’s emergency department had been closed for nearly two months, from April 2, 2021, as Al Wakra Hospital was being used as a dedicated COVID-19 facility.
However, HMC today stated on its Twitter page that following the discharge of the last COVID-19 patients at the hospital, the facility will resume normal services.
