Fully vaccinated citizens and residents traveling to Austria from Qatar will not be required to undergo quarantine from July 1, 2021.

Moreover, children under the age of 18 who have yet to receive the vaccine but traveling with fully vaccinated parents will also be allowed to enter Austria with the need to undergo quarantine.

The Qatar Embassy in Austria had communicated the updated travel policy earlier today.

Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharma, and Sinovac are the COVID-19 vaccines approved by the government in Austria.

Furthermore, individuals who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine will also be allowed to enter Austria after registering for the pre-travel clearance online.

Additionally, unvaccinated travelers will be required to present a negative PCR test upon arrival, which must be taken within 72 hours before their entry into Austria. They will also be subject to quarantine for a period of 10 days.

However, the quarantine period will end if the PCR or antigen test is negative after five days.
