Yesterday, Awqaf released a list of over a thousand mosques and prayer grounds that will be opened for worshippers for the Eid prayer this year. This list is available here.
All safety measures and precautionary guidelines will be implemented to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.
“We would like to remind the worshipers to adhere strictly to all preventive and precautionary measures for prayers in mosques," the Ministry had earlier tweeted.
Based on astronomical calculations by experts at Qatar Calendar House, the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Qatar could be May 13, 2021. However, the official announcement regarding the start of Eid will be made by the Crescent Sighting Committee at Awqaf.
