Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has issued the Qatari calendar (Doha time) for the Hijri year 1443 AH (2021-2022).

The Ministry’s Department of Islamic Research and Studies worked on the calendar, which is being given out to the public at Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani Public Library in Umm Guwailina. Timings for distribution are from 8 am to 12 pm.

In a post on its Twitter page, the Ministry explained that in addition to the prayer timings, the calendar includes climatic features of each month to help individuals plan their travels accordingly.

The calendar has been put together to help Muslims keep track of time and utilize it in the best way to carry out acts of worship and righteous deeds.

It shines a spotlight on the virtues of different Islamic months and days in addition to featuring some supplications and remembrances of the day and night.
