Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chaired the cabinet's regular meeting this afternoon at its headquarters in the Amiri Diwan.

During the meeting, the Cabinet approved a draft decision of the President of Qatar for Tourism to consider holiday homes as hotel establishments.

Holiday homes are considered hotel establishments under the project, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. /20/ of 2018 on tourism regulation and its provisions.

Holiday homes are furnished housing units that are ready to live in and have utilities, whether they are rooms, apartments, houses, villas, or camps. It is rented as a whole or in divisions on a daily or weekly basis, or for any temporary period of no more than thirty days.

Secondly, the Cabinet reviewed the following topics and took the appropriate decisions:

1. The report prepared by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment on the results of the work accomplished to implement solutions and recommendations regarding building permits and the procedures for issuing them.
2. Results of the 54th session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers.
3. Results of the 74th session of the World Health Assembly, and the 149th session of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization.
