The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has reminded all commercial facilities, retail outlets, virtual platforms and licensed home businesses to clearly display the list of prices of goods and services in Arabic.
When marketing or offering goods or services, these entities must ensure they prominently display prices in Arabic, with the possibility of including other languages, the Ministry underlined.
MoCI issued the notice yesterday, reminding these entities to be mindful of listing prices in Arabic, to ‘avoid legal accountability.’
