As Qatar experiences the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced timings for students’ attendance during this blessed month.
According to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry has specified that attendance for students during Ramadan will be from 9 am to 12.35 pm.
There will be five lessons per day and schools will be required to ensure the schedule for broadcasting is maintained at a rate of 25 lessons per week.

In terms of the duration, the Ministry stated that the first three classes must be for a 40-minute session each. The fourth and fifth classes should be for 35 minutes each, provided that there should be five minutes between each session. The duration of the break should be 10 minutes.
Students’ attendance at kindergartens is specified to be from 9.30 am until 11.30 am. The administration of the schools can coordinate the daily schedule.
However, the English Language course must be delivered in three lessons each week and the lesson should be for a period of 45 minutes from 10.45 am to 11.30 am. The session for skills activity has been limited to one hour from 9.30 am to 10.30 am.
