Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics building in Gaza has suffered collateral damage due to continuous Israeli shelling of the hospital's surrounding area.

In a statement, director general of Hamad Hospital, Dr. Rafat Lubbad condemned the constant bombing which has negatively affected the hospital and led to stop its services due to concerns for staff and patient's safety.

Hamad Hospital in Gaza funded by Qatar Fund for Development serves disabled people through its three departments; prosthetic department, rehabilitation department, audiology department.

Israeli Occupation’s bombing of the Qatar Red Crescent Society building in the besieged Gaza Strip has led to several deaths and injuries.

Israel has also shamelessly bombed the Al-Jalaa tower, which housed a number of media institutions, including Al-Jazeera offices in the Gaza Strip.

The targeting of humanitarian and media institutions is a clear violation of international law, humanitarian norms, and values.

The State of Qatar calls on the international community to condemn this sinful act and to exert further efforts to put an end to Israeli’s continuous crimes in the occupied territories and to protect civilians, journalists, medical practitioners, and humanitarian workers.
