His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday graced the opening ceremony of the Military Police Forces Command's camp.

Following the national anthem prior to the start of the event, the commander of the parade requested HH the Amir to review the parade.

The ceremony kicked off with a performance by the infantry, cavalry and vehicles and several military displays of combat and defense skills.

HH the Amir toured the camp where he was given an overview of the facilities and the live shooting ranges.

Brigadier General Rashid Mohammed Al Hajri, Commander of the Military Police Forces Staff, delivered a speech on this occasion. In his speech, Brigadier Al Hajri underlined the importance of the camp for training purposes and for enhancing security expertise for the Military Police Command.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and several senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces were also in attendance at the ceremony.
