HH The Amir meets Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in Baku
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various fields of cooperation, in addition to discussing a number of issues and developments of common interest.
They also exchanged views on the most prominent topics on the summit's agenda, particularly with regard to strengthening regional and international security and stability.
The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, HE Chairman of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, and members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
On the Azerbaijani side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HE the President.
