Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) have teamed up to host a series of free educational webinars for the public between November 8 and November 14.
The webinars come as part of the activities being held across Qatar during Doha Healthcare Week.
The Week is co-organized by the World Innovations Summit for Health (WISH) and healthcare organizations in Qatar.
This year, the majority of the activities under Doha Healthcare Week will be held online to ensure people can still benefit from the sessions while keeping safe against COVID-19.
The HMC and PHCC webinars this year will cover a host of topics such as stroke, healthy aging, mental health and wellbeing, and diabetes.
The webinars will also feature a group of health experts who will discuss key issues and offer practical tips and advice to the public. Chief Communications Officer at HMC, Ali Abdulla Al Khater said, “We are delighted to be offering this series of webinars for the public throughout Doha Healthcare Week.
“This year has been a particularly challenging one for people right around the world and it is important that we continue to promote health education and raise awareness among Qatar’s population of these important health issues.”
“I encourage you to register for these sessions which will also offer attendees the opportunity to ask specific questions which will be answered by the experts,” Al Khater added.
