Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) had announced that it will be stopping physical attendances at outpatient clinics in all HMC hospitals starting February 10, 2021.

The announcement has been made in light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases being reported in Qatar.

According to HMC’s social media post, all consultations between the physician and the patient will be held via telephone and face-to-face appointments, if needed, will be arranged accordingly.

If faced with a life-threatening condition, you may contact HMC’s Urgent Consultation Services by dialing 16000 and then pressing 3 from 8 am till 3 pm, Sunday till Thursday.

This service is applicable if you need an urgent specialist medical consultation, need an urgent medical refill, or if you have changes in your medical status and don’t have a near appointment.

All preventive measures are being implemented to ensure the safety of all patients and residents of Qatar.
