As one of the most awaited and special occasions in the Islamic calendar, Eid Al Adha, nears, the Qatar Calendar House (QCH) has announced that the first day of the celebration will be on July 20, 2021.

This is based on astronomical calculations by QCH specialists.

The first of the month of Dhu Al Hijjah for this year will be on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

However, the official decision about the beginning of Dhu Al Hijjah remains within the competence of the Moon Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) in Qatar.
