The Ministry of Interior participates in the thirteenth edition of the Exhibition of Internal Security and Civil Defense, Milipol Qatar 2021, with a large pavilion comprising several departments, where each of them are offering models of modern equipment acquired by some departments, while other departments offer models of services provided to the public and awareness efforts.
The stall of the General Directorate of Civil Defense introduces the visitors to all procedures for issuing licenses, building certificates, and how to prevent fires.
Maj. Eng. Abdul Aziz Al-Ruwaili, assistant director of the Information Systems Department said that the department is exhibiting through its pavilion five major projects, including maritime registration service, project of the security bag, the security clearance project, the traffic systems project on tablet devices, and the project of coastal and border security services on tablet devices.
The General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security showcases the maritime registration service for boats through Matarash2, which was launched yesterday during the exhibition, while the General Directorate of Traffic displays various types of traffic patrols and the latest radars.

The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) is participating in the Milipol Qatar 2021 exhibition with a large pavilion comprising its various departments and multi-tasking groups and specializations, including the group for the protection of important personalities from the country's guests and the Search and Rescue Group.
The Lekhwiya Pavilion showcased some innovations for security devices that were developed and received international certificates, including the eye detection device to detect the stress and anxiety of those carrying contraband and detect drug users, which was manufactured by Qatari hands.
Brig. Ibrahim Khalil Al-Muhannadi said that the participation of the Lekhwiya force in the Milipol Qatar exhibition comes within the framework of its keenness to participate with its departments and groups and the specializations of the Lekhwiya forces are separate and multiple. The participation in this edition of the exhibition included some security innovations developed by Lekhwiya, which were obtained international certificates and they are security innovations, he added.
He also explained that among the teams and groups participating this year at the Milipol Qatar 2021 exhibition, there is a group called Lafdaviyya, which exhibits advanced and modern devices and weapons, in addition to the participation of the anti-riot force with its advanced equipment and mechanisms.
In addition to this, the Personal Protection Force, forces of communications and modern means of communication, and explosives with their latest advanced technologies in the detection and removal of explosives are also participating from Lekhwiya.
By participating in this edition, they aim at showcasing the latest technologies and technological devices owned, whether for the mechanisms or weapons used in our force.

Lt. Col. Dr. Eng. Ali Al-Rashed, Commander of Security Technologies at Lekhwiya Force reviewed in front of the media the most important developments in the Lekhwiya force’s wing, especially the pride of the Qatari industry, which is the eye detection device that detects tension and anxiety for those carrying contraband or drug users, as well as determining the type of narcotic substance used.
Al-Rashed said that the device is 100% Qatari-owned and manufactured, and the wing also includes many devices that have been developed by Lekhwiya Force in cooperation with strategic partners.
