The 'Spar Spreadup Choco' chocolate spread product has been removed from the local market, and the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has warned anyone who are sensitive to almonds not to eat it.
According to the Ministry, all imported foods that are sold in local market places must pass a health inspection to guarantee their safety and adherence to established standards. Before the product could be displayed at the points of sale, the Ministry took the appropriate precautions to assure its validity
