The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has ordered the closure of Sherinani Restaurant for 30 days after the establishment was found to have violated the provisions of Law No. (8) of 1990, which regulates the monitoring of food intended for human consumption.
According to the ministry, the temporary closure forms part of its ongoing regulatory measures to ensure the safety of food products available in the market and protect consumer health.
The ministry said the action aims to ensure that food establishments comply with approved health requirements and food safety regulations, while also taking legal action against businesses found to be in violation.
MoPH reaffirmed that it will continue carrying out regular inspection campaigns at food establishments across Qatar to strengthen preventive monitoring and ensure the implementation of the highest public health standards.
The ministry also urged all food businesses to comply with approved health and safety requirements to help provide safe food and safeguard the health of the community.
