The Ministry of Public (MoPH) has issued an update to the travel and return policy for individuals traveling from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka, taking effect from August 2, 2021.

MoPH had made this announcement via their Twitter account, highlighting updates to the list of classification of countries and the travel procedures for individuals coming for the aforementioned six countries.

Considering the traveler has been vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in the State of Qatar, the Ministry explained that anyone traveling from these six countries will be required to undergo hotel quarantine for a period of two days.

Moreover, the quarantine period will end after obtaining a negative PCR test result on the second day of quarantine.

On the other hand, all other travelers coming from these countries are subject to hotel quarantine for a period of 10 days.
