The tenth issue of the Official Gazette published on Monday specifies that the health insurance fee for tourists’ entrance visas to Qatar is set at QAR 50 per month.

Law No. 22 of 2021 provisions, in accordance with Article (1), sets the health insurance premium on healthcare services at a monthly rate of QAR 50. This also comes after the Minister of Public Health’s decision No. (17), issued on September 4, to employ a health insurance premium for entrance visas for tourists.

Even when the visa is extended, the same QAR 50 will be charged as premium for the next month as well. This rule shall be implemented following the date of the publishing of the Official Gazette, starting October 3, 2022.
