Primary Health Care Corporation is committed to becoming the leader in altering people's health and wellness in Qatar by running and administering various Health Centers around the state of Qatar.

Urgent Care Services provided by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) are quickly becoming the healthcare service of choice for many individuals around the country seeking speedy and efficient care for non-life threatening medical needs.

Rawdat Al Khail, Al Rayyan, Al Kaaban, Al Sheehaniya, Al Ruwais, Muaither, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, and Um Salal Health Centers presently offer 24-hour Urgent Care Service. In 2021, these eight health centers will see a total of 81,500 individuals seeking Urgent Care Services.

Patients are treated at the health centers for non-life threatening medical requirements such as minor burns, sprains, acute headaches or earaches, dehydration, and dizziness.

Under Urgent Care Services, PHCC provides a complete service given by a specialized team to satisfy the urgent medical requirements of the community in a simple, accessible, rapid, and effective manner.

This is part of Qatar's efforts, led by smart leadership, to devote particular attention to the health sector as one of the essential sectors that constitutes a core pillar of nation-building," a PHCC statement stated earlier.

PHCC also has an app. With the use of the Nar'aakom app, residents of Qatar may use several of PHCC's digital services on their cellphones.

You may now access your health card number and the date it expires with Nar'aakom, as well as your designated family doctor and health facility from PHCC. Additionally, you may see your forthcoming appointments as well as those of your dependents.

Patients in serious condition will be stabilized and then moved by EMS to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) facilities for secondary care. Registered patients can use the service from any PHCC health center.

The PHCC's Urgent Care Services, in collaboration with HMC, enable the smooth delivery of care to patients. In accordance with the National Health Strategy 2018-2022, it focuses on integrated care.

As an integrated service, it attempts to give the proper treatment in the proper place, supported by referral criteria, care pathways, and evidence-based practice, and to promote continuity and timely access across the continuum of different locations and levels of care.
