Qatar advances two players in Asian Games table tennis singles

Team Qatar’s Mohammed Abdulwahab and Abdullah Abdulwahab have qualified for the Round of 32 in the men’s table tennis singles competition at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

The pair progressed to the next stage of the tournament as Qatar continues its campaign across multiple sports at the Games.

Their qualification gives Team Qatar two representatives in the Round of 32 of the men’s singles event, with both players now preparing for their next matches.

The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games bring together leading athletes from across the continent, with table tennis forming part of the multi-sport programme.

Team Qatar will be hoping both Abdulwahab players can continue their run as the competition progresses.
