Winter is on its way to Qatar.
The country’s Met Department has predicted that Qatar is likely to be affected by fresh to strong northwesterly wind starting from Wednesday, October 10, noon, The Peninsula reported.
Wind speeds are expected to increase over the weekend, from Thursday, until Saturday evening. It is expected to range between 12 to 22 knots, reaching 30 knots at times in some areas, according to a Tweet by the Qatar Met Department.

Offshore, there will be high waves (7 to 10 Ft in height) and visibility may drop below 2km due to blowing dust.
There will be a relative drop in temperatures with mild temperatures during daytime (early to mid thirties) and pleasant weather conditions at night reaching mid-twenties in most areas.
