At least 420 oxygen delivery devices were part of the shipment and are meant to play a life-saving role in the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
The acting charge d'affaires pointed out that the initiative aims to support the medical sector in Kyrgyzstan to face the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in addition to further consolidating bilateral ties between the two nations.
The support reflects Qatar's contribution to international efforts to tackle the infectious disease, which poses a common threat to all countries in the world.
Since the start of the pandemic, Qatar has been stressing the need for international solidarity and combined efforts to overcome the challenge.
