People who are going to be out and about today should exercise some caution as there is likely to be strong winds across the country, according to Qatar’s Met Department.

The weather report says that strong winds are expected all across the country, as well as in offshore areas, reported Gulf Times. One should also expect high seas.

Northwesterly winds are very likely to blow at 12 to 20 knots inshore, reaching a high of 25 knots in some places at times, while offshore it will be 10 to 20 knots, going up to 30 knots, the department noted.
The detailed report also suggests that the weather inshore will be hazy in the early hours of the day. It will be followed by moderate temperature during the day as well as slight to blowing dust in certain areas.

The Met department has also warned people to be wary of going into the sea until Tuesday.

The temperature is expected to range from 24C to 33C in Doha today, while the minimum elsewhere will be 19C (at Al Khor and Al Wakrah).
